Ruth Cancio is an abstract artist based in Manila whose work is defined by a vibrant interplay of textures and colors that reflect her inner emotions and experiences. Her artistic journey was serendipitously influenced by her grandmother, a retired ambassador who collected an early Arturo Luz piece during her assignment in Honolulu. Growing up beneath this painting, Ruth was unknowingly shaped by its presence, which subtly steered her toward contemporary art.

Ruth’s creations are designed to enhance spaces with large-scale, textured abstract paintings that appeal to modern interior designers, hotels, clinics, and contemporary collectors. Each artwork is a carefully crafted piece intended to elevate and resonate within its environment, offering a unique visual experience that complements and enriches the spaces it adorns. 

Her work has been showcased in prominent venues such as Shangri-La Mall, Greenbelt Makati, and Ayala 30th Mall, and she has collaborated with leading real estate firms like Shangri-La Properties and Ortigas Land to organize private exhibitions.
